Mini Style: A Festive Walk in Polarn O. Pyret

It's the most wonderful time of the yeeeear! Yes, I know there are a few more days until December, but we are already embracing our Christmas jumpers and festive socks. The air is crisp and chilly and we are ready to get our tree up next weekend! On Friday Noah had an inset day, which I had NO idea about until the night before, being the super organised mama that I am. So with no plans for the day, the boys and I headed to the nearby woods for a little stroll.

I've shared our woodland walks before. We live in Hertfordshire and are blessed with beautiful countryside and wooded areas in every direction. It means that even when it seems there is absolutely nothing to do, there is always somewhere to explore! After breakfast we jumped in the car and drove a few minutes drive to the nearby woods. We could tell that it was going to be quiet as there was just one other car parked there, so aside from the lone dog walker we had the place to ourselves.

The boys were free to run and climb and shout and holler as loudly as they wanted without fear of tuts and looks from other people. The trees are all bare now, and the once golden blanket of fallen leaves that covered the ground are now turning brown and a little mushy. The boys had a lot of fun chasing each other with sticks, pretending that they were light sabres, and swinging from low branches.

Every year I love to get the boys new Christmas clothes, especially Christmas jumpers. They usually end up with a few, and as Jude gets all of Little N's outgrown clothes as well as his own new clothes I think he has at least five festive jumpers this year! Noah's newest Christmas jumper is this gorgeous one from Polarn O. Pyret. It's so soft and thick and made out of a cotton and wool blend. It's navy with white snowflakes allover and little reindeer and snowmen across the chest and back.

It comes in a kids version for ages 2-6 years which is £30 and there is also a baby version in sizes 6 months to 2 years which is £28. The jumpers are sized in increases of two years so they have a lot of growing room. Noah is wearing the jumper in size 4-6 years, so it should last him through the next couple of Christmases, too! I find Polarn O. Pyret's clothes always wash well and hold their colour and shape, so I expect Jude will end up wearing it as well at some point in the future!

Have you got your Christmas jumper yet?
