Polarn O. Pyret
It's the most wonderful time of the yeeeear! Yes, I know there are a few more days until December, but we are already embracing our Christmas jumpers and festive socks. The air is crisp and chilly and we are ready to get our tree up next weekend! On Friday Noah had an inset day, which I had NO idea about until the night before, being the super organised mama that I am. So with no plans for the day, the boys and I headed to the nearby woods for a little stroll.

It only seems a few weeks ago that I was complaining to the other mums on the school run about how I couldn't wait for summer to be over. And now, autumn is well and truly here! We are layering up - jumpers on, coats on, boots on - as cooler climes are with us. Jude has a gorgeous new winter jacket to see him through the colder months. It's from Scandinavian childrenswear brand Polarn O. Pyret's autumn/winter outerwear collection, which is super stylish and totally practical.

I am so, so fortunate to live where I do. It's a wonderful town in beautiful north Hertfordshire and we're surrounded by green as far as the eye can see. And every few months a new colour appears on the horizon. Last month it was blue, in a few weeks it will be purple. Right now though, it's red. I met up with Kasia last week and she took me to a nearby poppy field to practice with my camera. She had spotted the blanket of bright red poppies from the train and worked out how to find them. Of course, I had to go back with the boys. And what better outfits to put them in than beautiful rainbows from Polarn O. Pyret's Same Difference Collection, to stand out against the sea of red.
