I started this blog writing about beauty, because at the time that's what I loved and was interested in. My blog took a huge turn - for the better I think! - after the birth of my first son. In becoming a mother I truly found myself and I started to share snippets of motherhood, beginning with my first son's birth story.
Since then I have written about pregnancy, motherhood, my children, fashion, days out and travel - and yes, I do still write about beauty! You'll find lots of posts about beauty products, baby products, recipes we've tried, pregnancy updates and even birth stories., including those of other women.
My style of parenting is a little off the beaten track: I use reusable cloth nappies, I breastfeed to natural term, I love babywearing, I baby-led wean and I co-sleep. There are lots of labels for parents, but I like to call it "mothering wild".
Becoming a mother has reignited a passion in me to do something about the climate crisis. As a family of seven (plus the chickens!) we are trying to live as greenly as possible and now my goal is to help other families do it too.
I have a Facebook group where like-minded mothers can chat and share their experiences and wisdom about living green and mothering wild, I would love for you to join us!
As well as writing on Quite Frankly She Said, I've written for Huffington Post, I'm one of the Round-up Editors for Britmums and one of the editors for The Mumington Post. I've also been featured on the Unicef blog and a few other places.
If you're interested in me writing for you, just give me a shout. And if you're a brand and interested in working with me on reviews, giveaways or sponsored posts, please do send me an email!
