Happy Days: Birthdays & Babies

Welcome to Happy Days!  Katy and I host this linky with the purpose of inspiring you to make the most of each day, no matter what you've been up to, and to find happiness in every day. It's where I share the little moments that have brought me joy.

Here's what has made me happy this week

• My big announcement! I'm so relieved to be able to finally tell people, and it seems people have enjoyed reading about how I told Ian. It is quite funny in a sweet, silly way!

• JJ turned two. It is such a cliché, but the last two years have really flown. He is such a beautiful happy little soul and pure joy to be around. I've been thinking back to his birth a lot as I'm now planning my second VBAC, which might possibly be a home birth, eek!

• JJ's birthday cake. He spotted a pigs in mud cake in Sainsburys and wanted it, but me being vegan means I wouldn't have been able to eat any. So I made my own, using the Sprite cake hack. I'm so pleased with how my little piggies turned out and JJ loved it!

• Birthday parties. I didn't organise a birthday party for JJ as I've just been to nauseous to plan anything, but the boys have so many wonderful friends and have been invited to one pretty much every weekend this month. Lucky boys!

• Season three of Game of Thrones. No spoilers here, don't worry! But my gosh I love it!

• A cinema trip. My friends and I went to see Bridget Jones's Baby and it was brilliant! So very, very funny. It's a must see!

• Lots of cake. My friend organised a Macmillan Coffee Morning so JJ and I went along and had lots of cake, biscuits and tea. My kind of morning!

• My Dad and his fiancee returning from their holiday to New York, with treats for me. Swedish Fish! Proper Froot Loops! I am such a child, I know!

What are you up to this weekend?
