pregnancy
This year marks six years of me either being pregnant, breastfeeding, or both. That's a lot of change that my body has gone through, especially my boobs! This year also marks the 25th birthday of multi-award winning maternity lingerie brand, Bravado Designs. I've mentioned before about how previously, I was never too fussy about maternity and nursing bras; as long as I could feed my baby then that was good enough for me. Then, I discovered Bravado Designs, and I've never looked back. Nowadays, they're the only brand of bras I wear!

For the last five and a bit years, I've been pregnant, breastfeeding, or both! I've never treated myself to decent nursing bras though, always just settling for ones that vaguely fit, even if they weren't the most comfy or stylish. As long as I could easily feed my baby I was happy. Well, all that has changed, after Bravado sent me one of their ultra comfortable Body Silk Seamless Yoga Nursing Bras.

During the last month of my pregnancy I was contacted about trying a new range of pre- and post-natal products from My Expert Midwife. Developed by midwife and mum duo, Lesley and Claire, the range was developed to ease some of the less desirable physical side effects of pregnancy, birth and motherhood. The side effects that tend not to get talked about much, but really should! The four products in the range are: Spritz for Bits, No Harm Nipple Balm, Fantastic Skin Elastic and Peri Prep Your Bits. They have been specially developed to prevent and heal side effects like itchy, stretched skin, sore nipples and vaginal discomfort such as tears, bruising and episiotomies.

Well, if writing a 40 week update was a surprise then this is a total shock! 41 weeks, whoever would have thought I'd get this far! I know in my last update I had talked about having an elective C-section at 40+5, but all that has changed. I'll explain more further on.
At 41 weeks pregnant my little Pip is about the size of a watermelon. She (yes, it's a girl!) is between 19-21 inches long and could weigh between 7-9lbs now. I do hope it's not much more than that! Here's what's been going on during my 41st week of pregnancy with baby number three.

I was not expecting to be writing a 40 week update! With Noah arriving pretty much on time and Jude arriving a week early I really thought I wouldn't reach my due date this time. Yet here I am!
