Mama Style: Bravado Body Silk Seamless Yoga Nursing Bra

For the last five and a bit years, I've been pregnant, breastfeeding, or both! I've never treated myself to decent nursing bras though, always just settling for ones that vaguely fit, even if they weren't the most comfy or stylish. As long as I could easily feed my baby I was happy. Well, all that has changed, after Bravado sent me one of their ultra comfortable Body Silk Seamless Yoga Nursing Bras.

Bravado Designs began 25 years ago when two mothers were struggling to find comfortable and stylish nursing bras, so they created their own! The Original Nursing Bra was their first success and over the years they have continued to support mums by designingstylish, comfortable nursing bras.

The bra that Bravado sent me to try is the award-winning Body Silk Seamless Yoga nursing bra which was designed for the everyday active lifestyle and is suitable for wearing during both pregnancy and breastfeeding. It comes in sizes S-XL and is available in three colours: Pink Heather, Charcoal Heather and limited edition Dove Heather, which is the one I have.

This bra is great for everyday wear but also supports low impact activity such as yoga and pilates. It is seamless and wire-free and the fabric has a four-way stretch so it is ever so comfortable; I barely realise I am wearing it as it's so soft and supportive! The fabric has "Silver Breeze" technology which prevents the growth of bacteria and helps to keep the bra fresh and free from odours.

The nursing clips open easily with one hand and the cup can drop down fully for breastfeeding. It has a number of options for how it can be worn; the adjustable shoulder straps can be worn straight or criss-crossed across the back, it has foam inserts for shape and discretion (though I personally prefer to wear the bra without these) and the bra comes with a conversion kit so you can convert it into a "regular bra" when you no longer need it for nursing.

It is ideal for new mums like me, as I am kept busy all day with Essie, as well as running around after my boys and trying to keep on top of the housework. I've had my six week check recently so I've been doing some gentle exercise to get back into the swing of things and this bra is perfect for the post-natal yoga that I've been doing without having to worry about changing into a sports bra and back again. I can just wear this bra all day!

Breastfeeding has been a bit of a struggle this time round and the last thing I need is to battle with clasps and layers of clothing when Essie is starting to squiffle. Bravado Body Silk Seamless Yoga nursing bra helps to make it quick and easy to feed her and the "Silver Breeze" technology has been especially great recently when I've been suffering with post-partum night sweats. It's such a comfortable bra I'm sure I'll be wearing it long after our breastfeeding journey comes to an end!

Bravado Body Silk Seamless Yoga Nursing Bra costs £34.00 and you can find it here.

With thanks to Bravado for sending this bra to review.
