Happy Days: Adorable Boys & Quality Time

Welcome to Happy Days!  Katy and I host this linky with the purpose of inspiring you to make the most of each day, no matter what you've been up to, and to find happiness in every day. It's where I share the little moments that have brought me joy.

Oh my gosh you guys I am still ill! I suffer with severe asthma and having something as pathetic as a cold can really take me down. I'm on all sorts of different inhalers to try to get it under control, and it's exhausting as I have no help with the children or at home. Anyway...

Here's what has made me happy this week

• A day out. I had intended to do so much this half term but being so ill means I've done almost nothing! I had to cancel going to The Baby Show and also the Hotpoint event I was meant to attend. We did make it to Paradise Wildlife Park on Saturday though and the boys had a great time!

• Exciting opportunities! I started Monday off with hearing some great news with a career development opportunity and some amazing new blog collaborations. It's been a bit of a busy week on my emails!

• Baby is doing well. I had my 16 week check with the midwife (my blog updates are a couple of weeks behind, week 14 will be up this weekend!) The boys came with me so they got to hear the baby's heartbeat and the midwife thinks I am having a girl as I am so ill. With my last two pregnancies, my asthma disappeared!

• J is coming out with more new words; I love how he says milk "mowk". The other day I was carrying him upstairs for his nap and he sang "mama mowk, mama mowk!" It was so adorable.

• Little N is being so sweet with my baby bump. He says "Mummy, I like that baby in your tummy." And then hugs me telling me "I'm not giving you a huggy, Mummy, I'm hugging the baby."

What are you up to this weekend? It is my cousin's baby shower so fingers crossed I'm well enough to go!
