Lush Sugar Scrub Shower Scrub

I love using body scrubs in the shower and the Lush Sugar Scrub Shower Scrub is a favourite.  Made with sugar (obviously!), ginger and fennel it boosts circulation and softens any bumpy areas.

To me it smells more of lavender or rosemary, it’s quite an unusual and refreshing scent. I dampen my skin in the shower then rub the scrub onto my hands, then rub my hands on my skin. I have used the scrub directly on my body but it feels a little too rough for my liking. I tend to focus using this on my thighs and upper arms as I tend to get bumpy skin there. It really helps to smooth my skin.

The annoying thing about this scrub is that is dissolves really quickly on contact with water. It’s not really surprising as it is sugar after all. You just have to make sure that you have an empty pot or container to store it between showers else it will all just disappear down the plughole!

As long as you store it properly you’ll get a good few uses out of each scrub, so it makes the price tag of £2.75 for 100g quite a bargain.

    1. It's like half a ball, if you got two halves to make a whole ball that would be 200g I think xx

  5. Love these! Just reminded me that I definitely need to get another one :) It is annoying that they disintegrate so quickly, but they're so good and smell so amazing I always buy them as treats! x

  6. Hmmm this looks like it would be a bit awkward to use! I still haven't found a HG body scrubs - most of them are either not abrasive enough or they dissolve too quickly!
