How is your Easter break going? Ours has got off to a cracking start! We kicked off the school break with a visit to one of our favourite places, Willows Activity Farm. Willows kindly sent us some tickets so that we could pop along and check out this year's Easter EGGstraavaganza event, and of course share our experience with you! You'd think with my complexion and dark hair that I'd be blessed with lovely, thick eyebrows, but you'd be wrong! Instead I have sparse brows made up of the tiniest, finest hairs EVER. Which means that combined with the aforementioned complexion my brows are barely visible. So every month I get my eyebrows threaded and each morning I use make-up to fill and define them.
I've been getting my eyebrows threaded at Superdrug for a few years now, after discovering that that was where my friend, who always has perfect eyebrows, got hers done. Recently Superdrug offered to send a voucher for me to try out their instore beauty services and as I already love their threading service I decided to try having my eyebrows tinted as well this time.

A few weeks ago I shared an amazing giveaway for the Santa Spectacular event at Willows Activity Farm in Hertfordshire, and last week we got to go ourselves! After the snowfall Noah's school announced it would be closed, so what better way to spend a snow day than with a magical visit to see Santa!
If there's one thing you get done this half term, make sure it's a trip to the fantastic pick-your-own pumpkin patch at The Pop Up Farm in Hertfordshire. The boys and I donned our wellies and headed over yesterday. We had SUCH a wonderful day!

Keira the jaguar cub was born at Paradise Wildlife Park back in April, as the Park celebrated the launch of its new charity the Zoological Society of Hertfordshire, and a few weeks ago she took her first ever steps outside!
Paradise is one of only two zoos in the UK, and one of six in Europe, recommended to breed Jaguars, as part of the EEP (European Endangered Species Programme). Jaguars are classified as ‘near threatened’ by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) so Keira’s birth was a real cause for celebration. She is the first jaguar cub to have been born at Paradise Wildlife Park and currently the only jaguar cub in the UK. Paradise Wildlife Park is now working on extending the size of its Jaguar exhibit, creating more space for both mother, father and cub!
We are ambassadors for Paradise and as Noah is now on summer holidays from school we will be heading to the zoo soon. Hopefully we will get to take a peek at Keira as she spends time bonding with her mother, Kedera. I'll share any photos of her that we take along with the rest of our visit to the zoo when we are back, so watch this space!

Keira the jaguar cub takes her first steps outside at Paradise Wildlife Park!
Keira the jaguar cub was born at Paradise Wildlife Park back in April, as the Park celebrated the launch of its new charity the Zoological Society of Hertfordshire, and a few weeks ago she took her first ever steps outside!

They will be celebrating the launch of the Zoological Society of Hertfordshire (ZSH) on April 1st with the opening of a new state-of- the-art ‘Penguin Falls’ enclosure for critically endangered African Penguins.

The boys had two parties to attend today: one for their friend's 5th birthday and the other to celebrate the one year anniversary of the opening of the Peter Rabbit Adventure Playground at Willows Activity Farm in Hertfordshire! Last weekend Ian, the boys and I were invited along to review the new pizzeria and see what they have to offer.
