Happy Days: Hello December

Welcome to Happy Days!  Katy and I host this linky with the purpose of inspiring you to make the most of each day, no matter what you've been up to, and to find happiness in every day. It's where I share the little moments that have brought me joy.

Can you believe we're in December already! Less than four weeks until Christmas! Eeek!

Here's what has made me happy this week

• The boys learning to ice skate at Willows Farm. We went to their Santa Spectacular last weekend and they have a magical ice rink made with synthetic ice, perfect for little ones!

• Listening to Little N practise for his school's Christmas play. His nursery class are being stars and they are all so proud and excited.

• Catching up with friends. We met on Friday morning for a quick natter and for the kids to run around together. It was lovely but went too quickly!

• Planning for a home birth. I'll be writing about it shortly, but I had my birth planning appointment with the consultant midwife this week who said they fully support - and actually recommend - a home birth. Eek!

• Japanese food. Ian took the boys and I for lunch at the local Japanese restaurant.  It's soooo good there, so delicious! I could eat it every day!

What are you up to this weekend? I am having a quiet one as I have loads of work to catch up on!

  1. It looks like your little one had fun ice skating! We went along once and used the penguin buddy but it didn't seem to make much difference and we're putting it down to experience! The prep for Christmas is always fun with practicing for songs isn't it? Glad you've had a lovely week! thanks for hosting #happydayslinky

  7. I love your ice skating pictures, it looks amazing! And nativity plays are the cutest - I can't wait to go to my first one. Excited to hear about your home birth plans - I know lots of people who've done it and they all had a great experience. And the NHS do seem really positive about encouraging people to go down that route if they want which is great.
