Food Friday

Last week I got my latest Hello Fresh delivery and I showed you the first of the three meals that I made. The box costs £39 and contains recipes and all the required ingredients to make three meals for two people: Fearless Sesame Crusted Salmon with Couscous and Cherry Tomato Salsa, The King’s Massaman Curry with Toasted Cashews and Sweet Potato, and Pork Chops with Leek and Potato Mash and Onion Gravy.

This week I’m showing you how I got on with the Pork Chops with Leek and Potato Mash and Onion Gravy.

Now I don’t normally cook with pork, I do occasionally order it when I’m eating out if there is a really yummy sounding pork belly dish on the menu, but generally speaking it’s my last choice. So I was amazed at how much I enjoyed this meal, it is my favourite Hello Fresh meal so far! I think the onion gravy absolutely makes this dish, I am actually craving some onion gravy and mash right now.Y-U-M!

If you’d like to try a box for yourself you can use my referral code to get yourself a massive £20 discount: C4MJSY. Just head over to www.hellofresh.co.uk to get started!

PS. I must say thanks to my lovely fiancé for taking the photo of the finished dish, I think he did a really good job!

  1. I don't usually eat pork, but the quality of the Hello Fresh meat is so much better than I can get in my local store. Next time I'd do this one with the leeks on the side...
