Craft Idea: Alphabet Pencil Pot

August's Bostik Blogger craft box has a back to school theme and we were sent lots of fab craft materials to come up with a simple craft tutorial. Little N is only starting nursery school next month so while it's not proper school it's still a big deal! He will wear a proper little school uniform like the children attending the infant school and most days the nursery children get to play with reception children. For our back to school craft we made a colourful alphabet pencil pot. If you want to see last month's sports themed craft idea you can find it here.

As you know I like to keep our craft ideas simple enough for the boys to do as they are only 3 and 1. Little N did this pretty much all by himself with a little guidance from me! He had a lot of fun choosing the letters, trying to name them and naming the colours as he went. Ian was so impressed by Little N's pencil pot that he has taken it to work to keep on his desk!

To make an alphabet pencil pot you will need:

- lots of foam letters
- a cardboard pot

Here's how we made it

- Using the fine end of the Bostik Fine and Wide Glu Pen put a small amount of glu on the back of a foam letter and press to stick it on the cardboard pot.
- Repeat until you have covered the pot in letters!

Have you made any crafts in preparation for going back to school?
