Birchbox – February Beauty Box

A little late to the party, but I thought I’d share what I got in my February beauty box from Birchbox.

London Fashion Week is the theme of the February beauty box from Birchbox; here’s what I got in mine:

Korres Guava Little Shower Gel – I am not that fussed by Korres products to tell you the truth, but this does smell lush. It’s a 50ml bottle.

Gerda Spillmann Bio-Fond Cream Make-up – I’ve never heard of this brand before, I do love trying new brands. Unfortunately this foundation, in shade 03, is too dark for me. A bold move by Birchbox trying to match something as tricky as foundation! This is a 4.5g compact.

Nick Chavez Plump N Thick Leave-In Thickening Mist – My haircare regime is very much a wash & go regime at the moment, I need products that I can quickly apply to damp hair and then leave to dry so this sounds perfect for me. This is a 59ml bottle.

Vichy Eau Thermale – I have never tried one of these facial water mists before despite hearing how wonderful they are. I might save this for when I go on holiday as I’ve heard they’re great for your skin during flights. This is a 50g can.

Birchbox Eyelash Curlers -  This is a ‘beauty extra’ and I think it’s a fab extra to receive. My eyelash curlers died long ago and I haven’t got round to replacing them, I just always forget!

EBOOST Daily Health Booster – This sachet is a ‘lifestyle extra’. It looks like it does the same kind of thing as Berocca. I’m not sure that I can having this while I am still nursing my baby, so either my fiancé will have it or I’ll just keep it until I’m no longer nursing as it’s got a long shelf-life.

I think this was another good beauty box from Birchbox. It’s a shame about the foundation though. What do you think of this month’s box? If you like it and want to sign up, please feel free to use my referral link: http://birchbox.co.uk/?raf=674. The box costs £10 per month plus p+p.

  1. It is a shame they get the foundations and other make-up items so wrong in these boxes because they could be so good xx

  2. I've always wanted to try facial water mists too but I haven't yet- they sound so good but I'm sceptical about water in a can! Korres products do smell really good :)

  3. i love the water spray - the eyelash curlers and korres - but the rest seems a bit meh. but do share your thoughts at a later stage about teh water spray bc i always get so many conflicting views - some say it is great and some say it leaches moisture from your skin...so would be nice to know your thoughts

  4. I love the water sprays for travel, I also like to use it after a face mask and let it dry on the skin before applying moisturiser. Looks like a good box to me!
