Korres Guava Lip Butter

During the cold winter months my lips always seem to really suffer. I reckon I get through more lip balm during this season that the rest of the year! One that my lips are particularly loving at the moment is Korres Guava Lip Butter.

These buttery lip balms from Greek brand Korres are made with shea butter and rice wax to hydrate and soften lips, leaving a shiny tinted finish. There are six butters in the range: Guava, as you can see, is actually colourless so leaves lips with a natural sheen and a delicious fruity scent.

I have pretty much always used Carmex lip balm which, as I’m sure you know, has quite a thick consistency. In comparison this lip butter feels so light that I thought it couldn’t possibly protect my lips from the elements. I was wrong though, as within a few days my poor dry lips were beautifully soft again. It’s a dream to apply and feels so light and creamy.

I’m pretty sure that this little 6g tub will see me through until the end of winter. When it runs out I am keen to try one of the other Korres lip butters; Pomegranate and Jasmine have both caught my eye. You can buy Korres Guava Lip Butter for £8.00 from Feel Unique here.

Have you tried any of the Korres Lip Butters? What’s your favourite lip product?

  3. I've been wanting the guava for a while. I have pomegranate but i find it too pigmented. I think I would like the clear version better. xx

  10. Oooh very interested in this balm. I, too, have super dry lips and find that Carmex is often the only thing which will make any kind of difference, but it is very sticky and is almost medicinal (to me, anyway!) so the Korres range sounds great! :) Wendy xx
