Mini Style: Christmas Jumpers with Hatley

This year marks my third Christmas as a mother, and this year I decided to get into the festive spirit early by dressing the boys in Christmas jumpers every day in December. Well, I have to make the most of the chance to dress the boys how I like while still can, before they start choosing their own wardrobes! Hatley’s Little Blue House has got some fabulous ideas for Christmas this year and the boys have been sporting a couple of cute pieces from the range.

Little Blue House by Hatley are known for doing fun and funny sleepwear and accessories and have four collections for the holidays: Patterned Trees, Northern Lights, Beary X-Mas and Ugly Sweaters. The collections feature coordinating pajamas, robes, accessories and jumpers so the whole family can mix and match this Christmas. Baby J has been wearing the Beary X-Mas Union Suit whilst Little N is loving the Santa Claws Ugly Sweater!

The Beary X-Mas Union Suit* (£24.00) is available in all sizes, from baby through to adult, so the whole family can have one! It’s made with 100% cotton and has a tag-free label brand so it’s really comfortable to wear. It opens with poppers all the way down the front and down each leg, so getting dressed is easy. The print features Nordic bears, snowflakes and Christmas trees, and there is an adorable applique buttoned bottom!

Although this is intended to be worn as sleepwear I love dressing Baby J in rompers and onesies still, so he wears his as daywear. I think it is ridiculously cute and so many people comment on how sweet his outfit is! With a vest underneath he’s as warm as he would be wearing trousers and a long-sleeved top, but much more darling! It’s quite a snug fit though, so if you have a bigger/taller than average child I would suggest you go a size up.

As much as I would love to dress Little N in onesies too (just imagine how cute the pair of them would look in matching ones!) Ian would never forgive me, so instead he has the Santa Claws “Ugly” Christmas Sweater* (£37.00). There are four "Ugly" Sweaters in the collection, two for kids and two for adults. I think Little N looks so dashing in his festive green and red sweater! It has a retro-inspired Santa bear print and a touch of sparkle, with sequin baubles on the trees. It’s a really fun Christmas jumper and the brushed fleece on the inside keeps N comfortable and warm.

Do you have any Christmas family traditions?

  1. This really is the cutest onesie, loved the photo on Instagram. I had a lot of fun dressing my daughter up for her first Christmasses but I think we're beyond that this year and I'm a bit stuck to find something festive but which she'll like (and is vaguely practical, not just hot and scratchy!) Shall have to check this out.

  7. I would have gone with matching onesies. Definitely! I'm still looking for matching outfits/PJs for the boys because they seem to be at the awkward stage of 3 and 8 months where one is going into big boy and one is still a baby.

This is my first year as a married woman, so I want to create traditions with my hubby :)
He always wanted to eat pizza on Christmas, so this year I'll surprise him with a mini pizza :)
