Mama Style: Babymoov City Changing Bag

After my first baby was born, I totally rocked that first-time mum look. Everything about me screamed “I AM A MOTHER! I HAVE A NEW BABY!” Second time around, the novelty of the yummy mumminess has well and truly worn off and I’m finding my own style again. I’m not just a mum after all.

I’m on a mission to find key pieces that are versatile enough to cope with the demands of motherhood, but still keep up with the latest trends. Mama Style. And when it comes to changing bags, you don’t get much more stylish than the Babymoov City Changing Bag* (£79.99).

When Babymoov launched their new range of gorgeous baby changing bags earlier this year, I was excited to have a look to see what they had created. I eagerly waited to see the new styles and, wow, they did not disappoint. There is a bag to suit every mum’s taste, with several styles each coming in various colours and designs.

The Babymoov City Changing Bag caught my eye immediately, because it looks just like a handbag. In fact, it looks just like the sort of handbag I love! The bag comes in three colours: Black, Zinc and Savannah (tan). I chose Zinc, which is a dark grey, because I just love grey. Grey and navy are my favourite colours when it comes to fashion.

The gorgeous stylish changing bag from Babymoov is crafted out of soft grey leather look material and the little silver details finish it off beautifully. The Babymoov logo sits modestly on one side of the bag. This is a bag that I could see myself using well beyond early motherhood.

The Babymoov City Changing Bag comes with plenty of accessories. It has an insulated bottle bag, a changing mat, a pocket for dummies, a removable pouch which is handy for storing nappy change essentials, two stroller harnesses and a shoulder strap.

The bag has two zips on the front of the bag which opens a space about the right size to fit an iPad, and on the other size is a open pocket which houses the changing mat. The City has a really large zip opening which reveals oodles of space inside and a few handy pockets for organising my items.

Now bearing in mind that I have a baby and a potty-training toddler, you can imagine how much stuff I have to carry about with me. Cloth nappies, wipes, change of pants and clothes, snacks, drinks, phone, keys, purse, tyre pump, toys, but to name a few. My last changing bag couldn’t cope with everything. This bag can take all that and still has room for more. I’ll be showing you exactly what goes in my changing bag on another post. You won’t believe how much I can fit!

My Babymoov City Changing Bag means I don’t have to choose function over fashion, I don’t have to choose between looking polished or being practical. I get the best of both worlds!

What changing bag do you have?

  16. I wish great bags like this had been around when my girls were little/baby's. I have not forgotten how many things I carried with me daily with a baby and a toddler. This bag is so neat. Thanks for a great review.

  17. Great review! I need a new changing bag so I'll have to check this out. Mine is too big and clunky and doesn't go with anything at all X X

  18. Aah it's a lovely one! I have a Pacapod one but it's not particularly stylish as it's so big! Twin babies need a LOT of stuff so a smaller bag wouldn't have worked for me in the early days. As the boys are a little older now, it would be lovely to have a smaller, more stylish change bag.
